Gesture-Based Interface Gloves are a low cost solution for gesture-based computer interfaces. The gloves are tracked with an ordinary webcam that can easily differentiate the colours on the gloves. Instead of digital gloves or attachments, the simple colours provide enough contrast to track.

AirTiles is a novel modular device that allows users to create geometric shapes in the real world and add a flexible sensing space within the created shape. In this interactive audio/visual environment, users can freely manipulate and rotate the device and rotate it so that a geometrical shape appears on the floor.

SENSACELL: Human interface technology for interior and exterior applications, scalable from a single module to 1000’s of square feet. The modular sensor detects objects through materials such as glass, plastics, wood, tile, etc. The system’s network can also interface with a computer for control over any module within the system. Hands and Fingers: A mobile platform for networked objects

Cell phones and other handheld electronics devices are gaining abilities previously reserved for personal computers. The projects uses microprocessors with I/O that are embedded in personal objects, and routing software running on a cell phone. These are connected by software layers in the routing software that manage the communications hardware.
